Create Your Dream T-Shirt: Screen Printing & Appliqué with Sophie Darling
Join us for a creative and hands-on workshop where you’ll design and print your very own T-shirt. Guided by Sophie Darling, you’ll explore the artistry of screen printing and combine pre-made Sophie Darling screen prints with your own custom-designed paper stencils. Choose from three T-shirt styles—classic, crop, or vest—and bring your vision to life in your own colours and add optional appliqué details for added texture and Darling details.
By the end of the 4-hour session, you’ll have:
- Designed and created your own unique stencils.
- Mastered the basics of screen printing using our professional tools.
- Combined layers of prints and custom colours to craft a one-of-a-kind wearable piece unique to you.
- Learn simple appliqué techniques and add extra detail to your design.
Leave the workshop with a beautifully hand-printed T-shirt that’s completely your own, along with new skills and creative inspiration to take away!

Once you have booked your place we'll be in touch for you to choose a T'shirt style in either crop, classic or vest in one of 3 colours.
What to expect:
1. Welcome & Introduction
Kick off the session with warm greetings and an introduction to the artistry of slow fashion. Discover the inspiration behind Sophie Darling and get a glimpse of what you’ll create during the workshop.
2. Discuss your chosen T-Shirt Style & Planning your design(30 minutes)
Using your pre chosen T'shirt we'll start planning your design. You'll learn how to combine Sophie Darling’s pre-made screen prints with your own paper stencils, explore colour palettes, and discover how appliqué can add texture and layers.
3. Creating Custom Stencils & Choosing Colours (45 minutes)
Design and cut your unique paper stencils, with inspiration from geometric, organic, and abstract motifs. Mix custom colours using eco-friendly inks, and learn tips for layering and vibrant results.
4. Screen Printing (1 hour 15 minutes)
Bring your designs to life!
- Apply Sophie Darling’s pre-made prints as your base layer.
- Layer your custom stencils to add personal flair.
- Experiment with gradients, overlays, and bold colour combinations.
5. Adding Appliqué Details (45 minutes)
Learn simple appliqué techniques to add texture and dimension to your T-shirt.
6. Final Touches & Showcase (30 minutes)
Add personal touches using fabric-safe pens and share your masterpiece during a group showcase. Leave with your very own bespoke T-shirt and newfound creative skills!

Cancellation and Refund Policy
1. Refunds:
- If you cancel at least seven days before the course begins, you will receive a full refund minus a 5% booking fee.
- Cancellations made within seven days of the course start date are non-refundable.
2. Course Transfers
- We may be able to transfer your booking to a future workshop upon request, although this is not guaranteed.
3. Course Cancellations:
- We reserve the right to cancel any course due to circumstances such as low enrollment
- In the event of a cancellation, we will make every effort to provide at least 7 days' notice.
- If we cancel a course, you will receive a full refund.
